Frequently Asked Questions

Should you have any questions related to our health care services, billing methods, treatment plan, disease diagnosis, etc. please contact us for more info.
If you would like to speak with a therapist about your concerns, you can book a consultation. A consultation consists of a 20-30 minute prescreening where you can talk with one of our therapists about your concerns without committing to a full evaluation. The therapist will ask questions about your child’s development, address any concerns you may have, and provide recommendations for your child.
Hayati Health Medical Center provides screenings at the center but arrangements can be made to have these done at the school or nursery school. Screenings are abbreviated evaluations to determine if a child could benefit from further evaluation or if a child’s level of performance is age-appropriate and no further evaluation is needed. If your child is found to have mild difficulties yet a full evaluation is not recommended, home programming ideas will be discussed so parents can facilitate these skills at home. If an area of concern is identified, a full evaluation will be recommended.
We do direct billing for eligible patients who have insurance with Thiqa, Daman, Mednet or AXA. Reimbursement will depend on the insurer and the benefits the patient qualifies for.
Yes. Hayati Health Center believes that a collaborative and multidisciplinary effort between the child, his/her family and his/her other support networks help to achieve results and reach the highest level of success. We have committed to providing our staff with extended continuing education and ongoing training opportunities related to autism treatment. Treatment of children with autism and working closely with their families is one of our specialties.
Yes. Parents are a very important part of treatment at Hayati Health Center. Parents are often invited into the treatment rooms to observe therapy if the situation is appropriate, and parent education is an integral part of every therapy session. Each session is designed to allow time for the parent and therapist to discuss progress and what was done during the therapy session. Home programs are provided to the parent to increase carryover in all settings and help the child be more successful in reaching their goals.
Parents are encouraged to observe therapy sessions, either periodically by accompanying children into the therapy room at least briefly, or by observing through closed circuit if available. Many children perform best when working separately from parents. For those children, parents may be included in treatment sessions for the last 5-10 minutes in order to understand current objectives and home program ideas.
We provide pediatric services for children from birth to 21 and adult services specifically for Psychological services.
